Well life is getting more and more busy at our house. We finally have a second story on the garage and the framing is done. Now they are working at getting a roof on and then siding. I just wish they could get our furnace vented so we can close the garage door and keep the cats in there at night. I adore our furry little darlings, but not at 3 am when they sense prime hunting time and want out. At least they don't go hungry outside. I am finally over my pink eye experience, but the rest of the family isn't. Colten came down with it on Tuesday and missed preschool yesterday. He was supposed to bring snacks but when I explained that he had pink eye and wouldn't be attending they were very understanding. They really didn't want a class full of pink eye. Today his eye is much better and looks normal so we will send him to school. I just pray that Carson doesn't get it. It's tough enough putting drops in a preschooler's eyes, much less a toddler's.

I know it is still February on the calendar, but it feels and looks like spring to me. My flowers are blooming and my daffodils are getting ready to pop. It really makes me want to get outside and clean up all the weeds and mess of winter, but outside work is difficult with a one year old. If I knew he would sit in one place and just be happy I would love it, but no, Carson has to crawl around getting bark and dirt all over and deciding which tastes best! I can put him in the backpack for a little while, but not for long weeding stretches.
